I saw that slime compressor at Walmart. I thought $13 was a bit too cheap and it would take forever to inflate a tire.

The kit I posted, I keep in all of my vehicles, it's a very very very nice kit.

I usually ride with others so also carry a hammer for beating rims back in shape if bead won't hold. Breaker bar with several sockets that fit different lugs along with 30' tow strap. I spend more time getting others going especially with the aluminum stock rims that tend to bend. A few other items I find important, aluminium snatch block, shackle and strap, high capacity air pump the cheap low capacity pumps are almost useless except for slow leaks.

I carry a Flat/Phillips scredriver, a knife, my zippo, and about 30 feet of paracord between my bracelet and keychain. Not too much room to carry a big pack on a gade.

I have that little slime compressor as well. I'll be replacing it, it's ok to top up a low tire but doesn't seem to put out enough to seat a bead.
I also carry the CO2, we tried it to seat a bead as well last time and it didn't work well at all, just not enough volume.
I think I'll be buying the large slime one or something similar.

Good thread. Lots of good suggestions for what I need to stock up on.
One thing I will definitely get is a GPS, either mounted or handheld so if I am ever stranded or injured, I can tell someone right where to find me....that is if I have signal on my cellphone.
