Trade in on a 250.

Don't think you can get much more out of a 90 that's worth the $$$ you'd have to thro at it.

WELL, you didn't say she was 4, in your 1st post...

But still, I don't think there is a way to "beef up" a 90, that's worth it.

Maybe some others will have a little input.

I put a bigger carb/intake on my daughters Eton 90. Of course you can do the exhaust as well. I don't remember the name of the website, but the parts were cheaper than OEM. They also had clutch kits. I'd say U have plenty of time to plan the whole thing out.

my buddy did all the hatrick mods pipe carb clutch and it was a nice improvement but not worth the $$IMO think it was around 1700.00 and works but not huge gains by anymeans. luckily those X's have great suspension and can handle/interset the kids until there a little bit older so its a coin toss really

You won't get the return on the money invested

I just picked up my son his ds 70. I have had atv's thru my years. You have to remember aftermarket is the Black Market for suckers some times, and they prey on us.

My dealer Can Am mechanic today advised me that when my kid grows into the 70 he can make modifications to speed up the 70 to a 90. That being said, he also stated he had a dad come in drop 1300 on his sons ds 90x and only got great sound but only 5mph more. They advised him that, but he ignored. None the less he could have traded in the 90x and dropped that 1300 on the 250 and been all the better.

It is a known fact, once you ADD items to the unit you also ADD or increase technical issues. Be careful on trying to get blood from a rock. It's a 90 again its a 89 cc unit.

Good Luck
