Default tire question

I am getting ready to buy some new tires and wheels, probably going to buy a 2010 800 max ltd when avalible. I am looking at itp 212 wheels and regular bighorns. I like the white letters. Question is should I get 12" or 14" wheels and why? I am going with a 26"

14's will look better but, I feel the ride of the 12's will be more comfortable due to the bigger side wall area... Either way you can't go wrong..

I'd stay with 12's. I run 14's on 27's and there isn't a lot of tire left. You would definitely be feeling the trail.
Can you even get 14's in a 26?

i personally have not had good luck with 14" tires, hitting rocks, roots, etc. trashing alot of tires, xtr's, terra's, think they are great for flat high speed trail riding, but like the others said, not much give to them, you feel the bumps more.
