Default Tie rod clearence?

With 28x10 silver backs in the front how much would it take to clear the tie rod ends with stock wheels? I want to keep my quad as narrow as i can. I was told a 1/8 of and inch is all it takes. I know guys that have mud lites on stock outty wheels and they just used two high quality 3/8th washers on each stud and cleared with no issues. would this work with the 28 inch silver backs?

Its going to be be really tight with 10's. The lugs might just clear and the carcass of the tire might just be skinny enough. I had 27 by 9" Mudzillas on with 2 washers and it worked good but still rubbed just slightly at a full turn. Where as I put on the 29.5 by 10 and they cleared by over 1/2" because the carcass of the tire is smaller.

Your just going to have to try it buddy.

Ya i think the 29.5 x10s have a skinnier carcass then the 28x10 silverbacks. I guess ill find out. I really hope i dont need the spacers. They hurt your turning radius a fair bit.

So the 29.5x10 / 29.5x12 outlaws mounted on stock wheels will fit without rubbing?
