bighorns have prolly the best sidewall protection against rock most all itp tires have weak side walls in my experinces

Decided to go with the Bajacross as they are E marked which is a legal requirement for riding on the public roads in the UK, now have to wait about 6 weeks for them to arrive

Have you looked at the MOTO MTC, I have them and they are surprisingly smooth on hard pack and they have great traction in snow, mud and slush. Only drawback was they only came in 26"

XTR's are poor quality.Buy them if you have lots of wheel weights.
