Default which tire?

I just got my 2012 800 xt and im ready to add some tires. I need help here. The only tire ive had was swamp lites on my foreman 500. they were a good tire but i think i may want more aggressive tire...what are some good choices? Im leaning towards the zilla's. they seemed to be liked on here alot. i will be going with 28's and more than likely the 10's front and rear. will the pipe lift be enough to clear thoes on my factory wheels? also would a 1" wheel spacer be a good idea?

No lift needed unless you want one, you will need a wheel spacer on the front to clear the tie rod end.

I thought the 2012s moved the tie rod into the wheel. I thought the back was the issue now

You are right the 2012 Gen2 800s and 1000s do not need wheel spacers. Never saw his sig earlier.

None required on either end of the Gen2 chassis running 10s all around.

Look into an Outlaw Radial! Great ride and still good for mud/trails.
