Dash all flashing and not shifting

Hi, I was on a trip on the traxter and the whole dash started to flash, then the transmission was not auto shifting anymore, I had to to turn the button to manual to be able to change gear. Then after riding it a lil this way it woudnt change gear at all..

After letting it cool down I started it again and everything was back normal.?!?

Hope some one could help me. Thanks alot.

Sorry to hear about your problem bro. There's a lot of stuff going on when you change gears on the traxter.

When you changed outta "auto" to "manual", were all the dash lights still flashing? When changing with the button, did it take longer than normal to change or were there any weird noises? Once it cooled down and started to act normal, did the dash work properly? And lastly, have you experienced the symptoms since?

Well, when the lights starts to flash They are not stoping unless i stop the machine, and Like i told you the bike stops to shift on auto and yes it's not shifting normal l'y on manual eighter, the first Time it did that it was shifting only on manual and then after a few shot it was stock in whatever gear it was in.
Last anwser is no it didnt do it after but i only drove it off the trailer so i didnt change gear or really try it..

I posted about a similar problem a few months back. IIRC it was the trans position sensor,

On edit, It was the GBPS (gear box position sensor)

I'm having the same problem. So far I think just recalibrate the TPS sensor should help.

I'm planning pickup the diagnotic jumper this week-end and proceed to the recalibration to see if it's help. I'll let you know...

i have the jumper and have done all the recalibrations that can be done with it and i don't know if it'll solve anyones problems but it did make a noticible difference in my bike.

make sure to clear all the codes after your done recalibrating. kill the ignition then re enter the calibration mode to check that the codes have cleared properly, then go for a nice little boogie and then recheck for codes again.

Maybe SmokeyMcBong could confirm, but that should be the jumper to replace by the diag. jumper (just left of the fan):

Here's the diagnostic codes:

my jumper plugs in to the top left of the fan. its been awhile since i plugged it in but i don't think that anything was plugged into where the jumper goes. not 100% on that tho, like i said, its been awhile and my memory is not what it used to be lol. heres a couple of pics of the jumper that im talking about.

ok here are the latest, ive been on the traxter non stop for the last 3 days and here is the problem,

1- I cant use the bike on auto, as soon as the bike shift everything start to falsh.

2- On manual, if im really carefull on COMPLETLY releasing the trottle when shifting ill be allright, but if i shift while im giving any gaz it will start flashing all the lights.

then i simply have restart the bike and im fine..

any idea?? the bike shift great al the time all the gear works and theres no other problem..
