Default Fuel gauge not working??

My fuel gauge is stuck on full. I put 2 gallons in it tonight to confirm its not reading right. Is this a common issue for 09's? Do they have a glitch with an easy fix or do I need a new....?

Thx fellas

Very close several times. Wheelies and steep rocks. Hill climbs but never been on the bar.

Default 2004 outlander - guage

My 2004 has same issue - the float seemed jammed for a while, and now the gauge just spins.

mine hasn't worked since i bought it (used) but i replaced the fuel pump and that was my primary concern. I can deal with a non functioning fuel gage, i just have to make sure i gas up before i ride. Maybe if my fuel pump fails again i will replace the float as well and have it working again.
