Ya, mine is coming out too. Along with a switch to Honda coolant, did a little research and it seems, it's the best. No silicates, 0, zilch, nada.

What do you guys think for the winter? I was almost thinking of just keeping the thermostat out year round and maybe some cardboard behind the grill, or sheetmetal where I put my homemade radiator screen.... or be safe and just put the thermostat back in, what do ya all think?

Removed mine about 10 day's ago. It's not going back in before winter time!

Warming up takes 5 minutes longer. Temp stay's between 80-90 C. Before +100 !

Best mod ever done.
what do you mean warm up? are you supposed to let them warm up first? how do you know when its warm?

Has anyone done this on a "hot" 400? If so let us know how well it works. My fan runs way too much in this kind of weather.

I just took mine out. This weekend will be the first run with it out so we will see how it goes. I'm sure it will make it much better. I'm keeping mine out all winter, unless it starts running ruff.
