It could be done as long as you are not running snorkels. There is no way to remotly tune a snorkeled motor unless you have the exact snorkel hooked up to the motor on the dyno

The main thing I have concerns with is the ecm not setting codes not hooked up to the bike. John, do you know how to do this? Mite save lotsa time fiddling with the stock ecm. Yes snorks REALLY change the A/F ratio, and kill power too. On the 1004, the snork killed 5hp, without the air filter, the air filter killed another 5hp. They were 1 1/2 snorks, which I think is too small, the air filter was a uni.

Do you offer a complete turn key service. It is expensive, but the whole quad could be shipped to you. Seems like it runs around 500.00one way. But I have spent a lot more than that fixing local shops tuning and other screwups.

I dont think the ecm will error out if it is not on the frame (hooked up on the dyno). I think the only problem might be the transmission sensors and connections. But I do not think it would be hard to trick the ecm into thinking the tranny was still connected. One of the issues I do see on the remote tuning is a lot of the older outlanders and renegades are running ecm programming that needs to be updates at the dealership. I think most of the updates that have been released have been fuel related. This could be solved if the stock ECM was replaced with a modified unit.
With the outlanders I have only seen about 5 basic snorkel setups. These setups could be installed on a factory airbox on a dyno to get a "safe" tune to go on powercommaders or modified ECMs. One problem I see is the load on the motor has to be exact on the dyno to the load on the motor when it is installed in the quad.
