Can you buy a lower temp thermostat for the the Rotax motor. I have this motor installed in my Rhino and it is running at 210 with out any problems but would like to lower the temps alittle sense it's now under a motor cover getting less air then it did when it's in the quad. :coff:

The stock T-stat opens @ 65° Celcius. I doubt if you can find one that opens at lower temp. You can just try to remove the T-stat, and replace it with a washer/gasket like the one in Cyl# 2. Do a T-stat search overhere. It's been covered a few times.

Thanks, sounds like people just remove it and install a washer. Anyone know what size washer to try?

There have been several threads about lowering the operating temps here.

Also, there is(or was) a guy on Ebay that sells temp sensors, that run about 30 degrees cooler.
