Default snorkled the bike and still taken on water???

hi i finished stealth snorkling my outie and i seem to be still taken water on the clutch. i think it is coming in on the clutch case somewheres? i did have the outer and innear case off and put silicone on the o rings. but now that i think of it the only thing i didnt silicone was the bolt holes the hold the innear case on. would it ever be coming in there. i parked the qaud in the water just over the clutch case. but not over the rear exhaust boot and it was taken water on

Get out the garden hose and fill it up, see what/where it's leaking.

if you still have the old backplate then the clutch cover will leak. BRP released an updated backplate for the CVT made of a much more durable plastic that doesn't warp under heat. Its very common for the old plastic backplate to warp enough that it will leak next to the shafts and even grind against the primary.

yes as russ said. you also have an 07' and may be leaking between the gearbox/crank and the cover itself. if the seal between the outer cover and main are leaking then fill it with water watch for where it penetrates the cvt case.

Double check the clamps attaching the snorkels to the belt housing.. It could be that its either loose or not seated on the pipe properly

I found my leak by filling it with water. I told some one on another forum to do this and got ripped for it. I dont see the problem when you ride and fill it with mud. Mine was leaking from the rear shaft
