Default MrRPM 1107cc Kit

Whats gonna be the HP numbers on this monster? I see that its coming soon. I am keeping my eye on this kit. I think by the time my bike is broke in and my warranty is up, this upgrade will be finished with the testing phase. Im sure this motor will require some serious clutching. Whats the total price gonna be? Will this include a port/polish?

That's all left up to mrrpm...I am sure it will be smoking and hopefully he will have the oil cooler complete soon as well...

mrrpm can bore out his 1004's to 1107 right now. not sure how you can really compare the hp numbers since there are so many variables. but it'll be a lot. the upgrade has already been very well tested since its the same as the 1004, just bored out a little more, kind of like an 840 compared to an 800. total price ain't gonna be cheap. you'll have to ask mrrpm that one. you don't HAVE to do cams, port and polish, oversized valves, etc, but you should, otherwise you aren't getting the most out of the bigger motor.

Yes, it's available now, but I think I need to tweak it some more. I'm working on some more serious head mods, that'll let it breathe better.

The kit will get the motor to 1004, 1069, or 1107cc's, but the price is just to get it to that many cc's, headwork is extra. I haven't built one with stock heads, because I'm wanting to get the most hp outta them, and so are my customers. Some people have already got their heads done, so if they just need the kit, they are pretty much there.

The prices are on my site.

Still workin' on it, I have tested the adapter, and it works great. I just have it looped, not going thru a cooler, and with a oil temp gauge, the oil temp is around 230 degrees, while riding at wot for miles down the highway, 80-90mph. When trail riding, it's around 205 degrees. Not too bad in the trail, but sorta hot on the road IMO.

My lead machinist is off for the fourth, he'll be back on monday, and will be working on them, and other projects when he gets back.

So if the price is the same except for headwork, then 1107 seems the most logical way to go especially since an oil cooler is in progress to being made.

Maybe, but keep in mind that the 1107 basically takes the bore size all the way out, as far as the liners will go. If something gets damaged, you have no more overbore left to bore out to. Sorta like a 840, takes it all the way out. You can simply replace the liner, which I stock, but they are $130 each, which ain't too bad, but if it's a 1069, which is a 4.125 bore size, you can go to 4.130, then out to 4.200. More rebuilds for your money. I haven't built a 1107 yet, just haven't had time. I do have the pistons though. I think at this size, more power can be had with more major head work, or a different cam design. The bigger the motor gets, the more air it needs, and the heads control that, along with the cam, intake, throttle body, and header.

Ok, that makes sense. Then I revise my statement...1069 is the way to go, lol.

do you have dyno numbers for the kits without the headwork to justify the extra money?
