I love my 680.Probably my smartest mod. It is a tight fit length-wise but it fits. The mj would be longer yet, so dont get it imo.

The mj stands for metal jacket which is not needed.

The PC680 is indeed the one. This place is good for all Odyssey batteries: Battery Tex - Your Source for Batteries

Hope that helps.

Agreed, no need for the metal jacket in our application.

Odessey PC 680....220 Cold Cranking Amps. 17 Amp Hr. 25 min. reserve. $115

Xtreme Permaseal XTAX20HL-BS.....310 Cold Cranking Amps. 18 Amp Hr. 35 min. reserve. $85

Yuasa Motorcross Series YTX20HL-BS.....310 Cold Cranking Amps. 18 Amp Hr. 35 min. reserve. $90

Is there something special about the Odyssey battery... I'm asking...?
All the above batteries are AGM, and fit the Outlander 800.

I have some of the Xtreme Permaseal batteries on some of my other ATV's and they work great!

The Odyssey batteries are like rv batteries, they can handle "charging abuse".

They hold a charge longer and can go years without getting a charge and then come back up to like new.
