That was pulling it out

Now pulling it in

Im a machinist so it was easy for me to make from a solid bar if you can find a piece of pipe 5" long that has a hole that is 2 7/8" it would work the outside don't really matter take a piece of iron about 1" thick drill a hole in the center just big enough for a 3/4" all thread rod to pass if you can tack weld that plate to the pipe good that's one less thing to hole up then you need a piece of plate1" thick and 2" round and a hole just big enough for the all thread rod to pass trough and 3 nuts to fit the rod lock two nuts together on one end of the rod and the other is used to pull I hope this helps I'm almost thinking to make a few of these and sell them to my friends to help pay for all my repairs after each ride lol!!!

Great additional pics and explanation.
While I am not a machinist, a good friend of mine is and he is gonna spin one of these pullers up for me.
Much easier than dealing with the spanner and pulling off the whole torsion/trailing arm just to change a wheel bearing.
Did you do anything special to press in the new nearing, like drop the bearing in the freezer for a day and heat up the hub right before replacement? Or did you pull the bearing in at room temp?
Much thanks for the idea and the pics.

If you put the bearing in a chest type freezer leave it in for a day or two that will work but if your like me and want to get it back together rite away then put the bearing in the bottom of a bucket fill it with ice and a little water let chill for a half hour clean the bearing area real good put a little wheel bearing grease in the hole if you got a brass punch you should be able to knock the bearing almost all the way in good luck buddy
