All the aftermarket clutches won't get any of that 30% back. This is the nature of the beast, at least in my experience. The aftermarket setups will allow you to set up something that works for your riding style, from racing to trail. The stocker doesn't have enuf options to allow full tuning, at least not without making parts.

What speed does it hit 7000 in high? Does it hit peak power that quick(.4 seconds) on the ground? Combo of dyno rollers and tire slip probably let it hit peak a bit quicker on the dyno huh? Obviously I'm not asking for exact info here, just what you can tell from looking at the pod.

I want the big cadillac for the trails.

Voodoo, your bike was a ton of fun to play with, I just don't think I am a good enough rider to handle such a beast on the trail. Then to step up to a 912? Maybe in 5 years or so if it's time for a new one, then turn this into a racer.

A little off topic here anyway, but with the talk of the new style clutch, is this something that wood be trail freindly for riding the way I do? Or is it just a racing type clutch? Looks like a work of art to me, and looks like much more efficent way to get the power out of the motor. I am thinking a regular cvt system loses about 30% of the engines power, with this clutch system wood the system gain you 10% of that lost power back?

I understand it's very expensive, but if you have 30% lost hp in the clutches, and by eliminating as much of that 30% as possible, you could see huge real gains, and still have a stock bike.

I may be way off in my thinking here?

that roller secondary would be a great trail clutch. since it reacts faster, you'll have better control over putting the power to the ground. i don't think the $1300-1500 primary would be worth it for a trail rider, but the new version that will be closer in price to the comet may be worth checking out

The supreme tool products are beautiful, I gotta agree that I would have a hard time installing them behind that CVT cover, lol!!!

I want to know if the differences in the 09 ECU affected the 650 model as well as the 800r model. The 650 didnt really see any changes like the 800r's did for the newer year models. Are they comparable to the previous year 800's as well?

the 650's saw a bigger jump in power by 7% up to 60 hp now. I think that was for 2010 instead of 09 like the 800's.

yup, the 650's ECU didn't change when the 800R's came out. same with the intake. the '10's have the power increase, not sure how they did that, yet.

So GW, since Im running a basically stock bike, I would greatly benefit by the STM secondary ? At this point do I leave the primary alone all together ? And whats the secondary worth ? And... is there any adjustment in the secondary at all ?
