I'm starting to think clutch work should be some of the first performance mods done to your machine... Maybe it doesn't make it sound better or add more power to the engine but it allows the power to be delivered most efficient - sounds like pretty soon its gonna be more affordable too

not too many people in the ATV world get that yet. i can say that the first mods i'll be doing to any bike i buy will be shocks, tires, and clutch work. one of the problems with the stock can-am clutch is that it is very limited in what you can do with proprietary weights, non-linked inner and outer primary sheaves, and a secondary that uses a plastic helix and does not really offer other secondary spring choices. for most, a good 3 weight primary and the roller secondary would be all they need, and it would be a HUGE improvement over stock

How would i set up a stm strictly for drag racing? Would like 4000rpm engagement be possible with out messing up the shift out?

Yes, buy the drag weights, then you can rev it way up, and the shiftout will be whatever you want it to be.

im building a mud drag thick sup primary and sliping in to circle track thin mud high water what direction of clutching and mods should i direct my attention
2008 renny 800 full duel luney tune, uni air filter, and beating my head up on mr rpm's 1004 or maybe the 1069 if the cost turns out resonable $$$$

I see that STM offer different helix angle setup from 35 to 50, what is the usual setup in addition with 912 kit ?
