Default Wanted Brp race intake

Does any one have a brp race intake for sale?

I have a stock 06, ron woods (sled) & a 09. I have a friend that wants to do some dyno testing. I told him the brp race or mrrpm is the way to. He wants to test them all. Im going to buy a mr rpm from greg so we just need a brp if any one wants to upgrade to mrrpms that would work out for us both. I think the power will be in the order i listed them. So from least amount to the highest im guessing 06,sled,09,brp race, mrrpm.

Oh has any one taper bored the throttle body compared to just straight boring them? Something we might test also.thanks

i'm not sure it would be worth the time and money to get the BRP race intake. mrrpm's is designed as a replica of the inside of the race intake.

I tested the tapered throttle body, no difference on the engine dyno. Haven't tested on the chassis dyno.

On the intake, I'd think your motor will dictate which intake will do the best, as larger intakes will do better on larger motors, generally speaking.

Would your intake work good on a stock engine?

MrRPM's intake is designed for larger CC motors or those that need to drill/tap the intake for N20, etc.

Will it work on a stock machine? Certainly

Will you notice significant HP gains? No, not with just the intake itself... Its designed to be a supporting mod used in conjunction with many other mods.

What about putting an 09 intake on an 07? I was told it makes the 07 more responsive.

its good for a few HP. mrrpm's intake will work like ericdrob67 said, but is it going to be a huge improvement over the '09 intake on a stock motor? not really. would it be worth trying? quite possibly, since its so cheap. way cheaper than the brp race intake, which is very fragile and a pain to work with.

Im still hoping Paul takes his 09 intake off soon and gets it shipped to me. I'd like to have MrRpms but my race class wont allow it.

Who makes shortie intakes and twin carbs like on the kawis? I bet there is 10-15 hp just waiting to be uncapped.
