Old but good!

If this happens to me I'll end up welding an aluminum piece of pipe to my engine, kinda like an 02 sensor bung but shorter, and then I will have so many threads it should be about impossible to strip it again (use a torque wrench) Oh and I will also have a bolt with a magnet on the end for those sneaky metal pieces...

Has anyone tried this on their canal? Fumoto Valve | Qwik Valve™

I wonder if the housing is large enough.

But there doesn't seem to be a magnet.

whatever you do don't take it to most dealers. If like cars, they crank the engine oil plug and oil filter on so tight the next time you want to do it yourself both are very hard to get off almost like it is welded on.

No kidding, I just did my 2nd oil change, the dealer did the first. My plug was on so tight I ripped open my thumb on the skid plate after using so much force to break it free. .

Stripped mine like a week ago. Went to a local mechanic & he charged me $5 to tap to a 14mm X 1.5. Got drain plug at advance for $4, so a $9 fix for me. Well i take that back, i used 3 qts of cheap oil to flush in case any particles were in there. So ill say less trhan $15. Ill take that any day
