Big Gun full exhaust system
Has anyone tried one of the or the Muzzy full system and if so was it worth the money? I plan on getting the 09 intake and was thinking of getting the Big Gun full system to help in performance. I presently have the Big Gun slip on and enjoy it but the full system intrigues me. How much power would i get getting the full system over just the slip on?
Thanks!!

Been doing a lot of research on full exhaust systems pros/cons and what I've found is; True power gains are obtained when a fuel management system is added.
here's a good thread too:
which exhaust??

A full system provides about 3 more HP vs the slip on. This is because the headers are slightly larger in diameter than the OEM headers, which provides more air flow.
I had the Full Muzzy on my 840 Rene and loved it.

Not to burst your bubble.......but I had a full muzzy and a PCV tuned, and I could only tell a minor difference. My bro and I on stock tires......snorkels and me with a the full muzzy and tuner, him with a muzzy slip on, and in a 3-400 ft run I MIGHT get my rear bumper even with his front....thats it. We tried this several times, switched riders, went from a stop, roll, and everytime it was the same.
This is a contributing factor to why I sold it and I am going back to a slip on. I cant see having 900 bucks in an exhaust and tuner for that little bit. If I had plans of going big bore, I would probably keep it. But I dont, so I am sticking with stock for now.

No..I sold it and using that money to get the SxS in the late summer.
I really had no use for the Gade on the farm, since the 09 Outty 800 was setting there.
