If you take a look in the McMaster-Carr catalog, catalog 112, pg.193 you will find some "Super-Flexible,Extend and Compress Aluminum Duct Hose"

Temp. Range -100 to +500F...Flexibility: Very Flexible....Abrasion Resistance: Good....Compression: 83% of extended length.

Starts at 3" I.D.... But the beautiful thing about this stuff is it will "conform" to irregular shapes.

So I'm thinking of takeing the factory snorkel off at the trans. cover, where the rubber boot is that connects the hard plastic snorkel tube to the trans. cover, and slapping this stuff on and ever so gentley tightening a worm clamp around this stuff. Then routing it up and over the air-box....so on and so forth. Might even put a bilge blower down stream.hehehe

Heres more! There is a 2inch to 2inch rubber elbow that connect to the belt cover. Then you put a very small piece of 2 inch pvc to connect the runner elbow to a 2inch to 2 inch PVC elbow. The a 2 inch to 1 12/ inch reducer to connect the pvc elbow to the 1 1/2 spa hose. run the spa hose up the side of the box then put a 1 1/2 elbow and tuck under air box however high you want to go.

This is how I ran mine out from the front. Works good in the winter for a hand warmer! Still need to run a small bead of rvt around the outside to touch it up. It looks way better than the pics show. The crome really sets the bike off.

Left the pipe white, so you good see how it was sitting in there. Once its painted black you can't see the pipe. this a small crome housing like that on a boat cover. It's made out of brass so it will never rust.

those chrome ports were a good idea and for you Minnesota fans those are custom breather inlets and not snorkels ... it was born a snorkle and raised a snorkle but now its a ...... LMAO
