I wouldn't believe the dealer. Call another one or BRP for an answer. BRP doesn't suck by the way.

A buddy of mine blew an axle on his Outty last month and warranty covered it. They had a 2 week back order on them but he was covered.
I think your dealership is lying to you.

Wow, that sucks Sam never an issue before now, strange. I agree Tim is a straight shooter. Super ATV has Rhinos for 199 and there is some kind of shipping deal to Canada now I think, drop them an e-mail and ask about shipping. I know Paul at Rubberdown Customs can get them for you, drop Paul a line here on the forum his user name is "Rubberdown", he can give you a price shipped to you;

All i know is late last year,i drove a stick thru my right rear cv boot,lost all the greese,it started making a clicking noise,so i figured i was screwed,because it was my fault,so my dealer told me to bring it in,and maybe they could get it fixed under my exstended warrenty,but it would cost me m y 50 dollar deductable,well ok no problem,i figured i was screwed,but not the case,it did only cost me the 50 bucks,but what they did was just replace the complete shaft,with good boots on both ends,but whos complaining,works for me.. I do think a dealer is worth a great deal,and i understand your dealer is one of the good guys,so i am lost for words... All i can say is good luck..

Just so you know, dealers usually do not make money on warranty work. The warranty work usually takes more time to preform than brp allows for reimbursment. Also they do not make any mark up on parts. Depending on the dealer level, it can actually cost the dealer for warranty repairs. I was in charge of warranty claims for over 3 years at our dealership, and it was never a profitable deal. We only profited by taking care of our customer, working with brp to accept claims, and some time taking a loss in the name of customer satisfaction. This is how true return customers know that a dealer goes above and beyond. Not all dealers are equal. Fact....

technical bulletins

As far as todays date, BRP has no warranty or technical bulletins regarding broken axles. My dealer did not find any. If your dealer does, have him print out the bulletin. We always would share this if asked. Good luck.
