In that type of obstacle utility racing what CVT range are they in? It's too fast for low and the obstacles are too tough for high range.

With no ability to shift while they're moving just what do they do?

They would have to be running in high range the whole course. They are probally clutched for type of terrain they are running. Kilby got the SHAAAAAAFT, being penalized two positions for being thrown off course and taking the lead to win the race. I'm pretty sure they were running the 650 also. No way those cat's could hang with the 800 in the straights.:2cent:

the motor size is limited to 700cc and the can-ams are 670cc that is what they said at the first part of the show.

They run in high range. And they are outlander 650's not 800's. I like how thelady said "and hereis a Can-Am 700". lol.In that type of racing the rider is what wins not the bike. Daryl rath is dang good rider but Kilby edges him out. I think Kilby should have won anyways. This is WPSA not GNCC.

Kilby did not get bumped of course there was a guy stuck on one section on logsand instead of taking the other section of logs he decided to go around the logs all together. I think the penalty was a bit harsh, it should have only been one spot because when he went around the logs he passed the leader. YOU CANT SAY ANY DIFFERENT!!!
