I dont know how often everyone greases their machine, but I just greased mine tonight. I greased it 50 hours ago, and the last time I rode, we went thru some water. Well I am going on a ride tommorow and figured it will be some more water, better grease those u-joints, before I go. Well It took 5 pumps to get grease to come out. Same on each one.

So anyway dont forget to grease those u-joints, evidently 50 hours is to long to wait.

How often does everyone grease theirs?

Every time I ride. Can't hurt it. I see water come out of the a arm bushings when greasing.

Ever since I had toreplace my rear u-joints I have tried to bepretty frequent on greasing. Usually every other ride. Luckily the joints are cheap but you will spend some time replacing them. Easier to grease more often. :2cent:

Well after what I saw today they will get much more attention from now on. If it took 5 pumps to get grease to come out they must have been almost dry. I did grease the a-arms too like always and they took 2 pumps.

Got about a thousand miles on mine. Sounds like they need more frequent attention.

Thanks for the reminder Jeff.

Whats with water resistant grease?? Doesn't all grease resist water? It does not seem like any grease I have ever used has been water solubile.
