Isoflex Topas NB 52
$26.79 to my door. I would rather stick to the right stuff for that price. 50g should be a life time supply.

I have a hydrallicrock hammer and the recommended grease for it is made by Pennzoil called adhedoflex. It is really sticky and thick would this be along the same lines as Isoflex? Cause I got cases of it.:tg:

revicm, if you could get a sample of the recommended grease, put it on the end of a hot tee rod, your stuff on the other end, put it in your drill, you might get an answer.
I make you the same offer I made to fmj40, you send a container that will make it back thru the mail with your address on it, I'll send you some of the stuff in a baggie to try.
On the 50 gm tube of thekluber isoflextopas nb 52 it says 'special rolling bearing grease', made in Austria, contains N-alkylated benzotriazole (may produce an allergic reaction, wooohoooh!).
Might be just a sweetheart deal with brp since ouratv engines used to be made there, other brp engines are still made there, and your stuff isabout as good. If it sticks to the hot spinning rod, centrifugal force, maybe we could use it instead.
May be all pie in the sky,may be not.

For those who have not seen the Isoflex, it is literrally like cold cream. If you put some on your hand right next to some Jergens or Pond's cream, you can't tell the difference. It is creamy unlike most greases, some greases have wax in it that has to melt to get the full lubricating benefits. Isoflex is a "cold" grease, starts to work at any temperature, no wax to melt. I used to use Isoflex 20 years ago where I worked.
Also, Isoflex will not seperate, like most greases that are a combination of lubricants.
It works well in some firearms too.
The size below is enough to last a lifetime of "greaseing your shaft" (inside the cvt, that is).:sm:

PS. if a couple guys got together on a tube of the Isoflex, it would be more affordable and you'd still have a lifetime supply.

Isoflex Topas NB 52 is a fully synthetic, long-life, high-speed, spindle bearing lubricant. It is similar to the Isoflex NBU 15 with a different synthetic base oil type and slightly higher viscosity. It is well suited for high speed, medium to high loads, and excellent coolant resistance.
Base Oil Type Synthetic Hydrocarbon
Thickener Type Barium Complex
Service Temperature Range (°C) -50 to 150
NLGI Class 2
Speed Factor, nDm (mm/min) 1,000,000
Guys, since we had pretty much disussed the other regularly used fluids for this rig I figured this discussion was long overdue. As quad said.. this stuff is quite a bit different in texture than regular grease so part of me thinks that we should stick with it. But then it doesn't hurt to discuss amongst ourselves.. I might have to get a tube for myself just to have it in the future. But it doesn't take any more than 1/2 a teaspoon to completely lube the points during a clutch rebuild.. so it'll last a while.

i think can-am uses isoflex for the long lasting of it. they think most will never lube this bearing. i talked to the lead tech at my dealer and he thinks the same. for the guy who lubes his say once a year as i just did i think high temp disc brake grease that is good to about 500 degree is okay. these parts will not see temps that high. lazer temp a hot brake rotor some time. my:2cent:
