Ive had mine up to about 63 mph w/my 31" Laws. Now thats scary. All it does is float all over the road. Had to shut it down as it was still climbing and I still had throtle left but I got scared. No helmet on asphalt and no control over the drift. And not to sure how accurate the speedo is w/the 31 laws. I know kinda ramblin but nothing else better to do.

It's a snowmobile motor, so it should have the power of a snowmobile. Now I'm working on having the power of a car, a fast car at that!

Confirmed again yesterday 75mph is all she has! What's funny is my girlfriend was on the back. So it seems as if it's governed at 75mph (at approx. 7450-7500rpms) b/c I figured with the extra weight of another passenger it would not have had as hi of a top speed...

I've only hit 70, might have been an uphill stretch of frontage road, have to ck it with gps next time.

Also had extra gas on front plus full heavy rear trunk. If you're a big guy plus your girl friend, I didn't have that much on there, maybe slow bike or was going uphill.

Rev Limiter!!!! Oh Yeah, we have met! I am honestly surprised it would run that fast without blowing something up!. I was running about 68 horse at the rear tires. The computer also said that that was the hottest I have ever run it. I like going fast up the trails and shtuff, but running that fast on sand is retarded! I wondered about running a comet clutch or even a Rev set-up, except for a ski-doo sled clutch set up runs over a grand pretty quick!

70, maybe 72 all stock 800XT. It felt very controllable but youstill only have a fraction of a fraction of a second to eye the speedo. This was running on hardpack clay/sand with about 50lbs of gear and xtra fuel.

What do you need to do to the clutch to get alittle more top speed?
