DS650 pumping out oil

My 650 is pumping out oil from the hose that runs from the crankcase to the airbox intake tube. Even while cranking over, it moves oil. The oil is then running out and down all over my engine. What I'm suspecting is that the hose
from the oil resevoir is slightly kinked and *possilby pressurizing the case and pushing the oil out. Anyone ever heard of anything like this or ideas to what might be causing it? It's in the shop now but I'm about to go get it because they've had it for two weeks and hadn't even looked at it.

It could be a few things, like a broken piston, over fill oil tank, oil return pump not sucking and pushing the crank case oil back to the tank.

I've had the ring break and do this.

How fast do you want to go?? Just ask!!!!!

you could have bought the "James Bond" addition, if that is the case run the line right above your muffler. That will activate the "Smoke Screen" option. The good thing it will ONLY affect the non Canam people because all the others will be behind you.

my humer just kills me!

I know this post is old, but I finially got able to tear into it. The piston and rings are fine, actually, hardly any wear. The inside of the cases look great as well. So I'm still at a loss: it's not over filled with oil and there's no blow-by.
I'm replacing the rings and timing chain anyways since I have her apart. Any other stuff I need to check before bolting her back up?

If it wasn't for my raptor, I probably would have gone insane. I do like reverse and fuel injection, but I'm so ready to get the Bomb back together.

I think that's part of the reason most of us have more than one bike. My DS was out of commission for a few weeks after I rolled it and if it weren't for my KX I would have gone nuts. Hope you get it fixed soon.

Did you ever find out why your ds is blowing oil? I pulled mine apart cause oil is dripping on the top of my motor. After further looking it's coming out of a oil line from the right side of the motor by the brake peddle. Looks like a over flow line. Let me know. Thanks
