Think this gonna be one of the things that need fixed and have read where some are straightening it with a winch. Is this a straight pull on/in line with the steering column/stem?Is the stem metal that soft?
Or pulling it out dosent look to bad if I had to do that.

R-R
I did read that some guys are bending them back. When I bent mine I replaced it 100 bucks from Brp. Bending them back gives the stem a weak spot in the metal. In that its more likely to bend again with less of an impact. Moose sells an heavy duty stem a little more money but more durable. IMO i would go with BRP it is weaker and allows more give in impact it allows more of the energy to the stem and not other more expensive parts of the bike.

Got the front plastic off yesterday, right shock mount is bent down 5/8" or so,is deformed in a couple of spots in the last few inches before the shock.Gonna try bending it back and weld some plate on to reinforce today.

Shifter is bent,no broken airbox,so it wasnt all bad yesterday.

It doesn't sound that bad. Good deal Rorer! Was any of the plastic around the air box broken? Is the steering stem bent?

No broken plastic on the airbox, havent looked at the steering stem close yet.
Got the shock mount straightened out and put the shock back on to do some measuring and it was 3/4" low on the right side, looked some more and the shock wasnt extended as far as the other.Called Ed Crutchfield and he says the shaft is bent even though I cant see it.Told him I would bring it to him next week and he said bring both front shocks and he is gonna do a free upgrade on both and put a new shaft in the one I bent.
So its hanging from a hoist for now and Im not in a real hurry as my hand is pretty sore after the last two days.

After fixing the shock mount, taking a shock to Ed Crutchfield to replace a shaft,it wasnt bent, but I got to meet Ed.
I took the skids off and the frame is bent on 2 sides where the bottom A-arm attaches, gonna try the three tube beat in the frame mod next.

I will not ride without insurance again.

I still cant get over how thin these frames really are.The frame was concave in the back where the rear skid had beaten the frame too.
The frame mod straightened the frame, put the three tube deal in the freezer overnight to make it draw some and it went right in with a little persuasion, gonna start putting things back together today and run new snorkels.Third day of 95 degree heat, fun, fun.
