Donna - i agree with you. sometimes ive seen people jump off there quad and stand in front of the light not to be seen by a car driving by.

yeah basically just cut one wire and extend both ends of it to the front where you can mount your own switch anywhere you want.

so two wires would be sent to the front and then the switch in the middle.
there might be three wires- ill have to check but i think its only the pos and neg.

You only want to switch the positive wire so just extend those to the front to switch

Yep! I ride several times a week, daytime and night time... we extend our riding through cut throughs... sometimes one does not want to be seen or heard ya know! Lol

also If one needs to romp down a trail, and dont want someone to see where you went! if you know what I mean!
