plow plate mounting

OK , this is a stupid question but, the Cycle Country mounts are not out for another 4-5 weeks or so. I welded up a 1/4 " 18x18 plate with the drop ears per Big Johns drawing. The G2 frames are 1-1/2" square tube . I ordered some square U bolts, yes thats what they were called. They only had 2" wide but I figure its just the clamping force. I didnt want to use true U bolts as I figured the contact surface would require too much force and distort the tube.

Question is , does just the u bolts keep the plow mount from sliding back on the frame ? I mean say you pushing snow into a frozen bank and get slammed pretty hard, will the U bolts slide ?

I know on my plow it had 4 thru bolts and 1 bracket ( square u-bolt ). The 2 biggest bolts went thru the center frame factory holes, the other 2 bolts went in the aft factory smaller holes and the bracket went on the forward end of the mount. It looked to me that the forward bracket might be for side to side movement as well as the aft bolts, and the 2 center bolts were for fore to aft movement. Just my thoughts.

My moose plow only has 2 4"x2" ubolts holding the mount on and it stays put. The front mount sits right in front of a structural gusset so it really can't slide back.
