Had a funny ride with my 11 year old son on my Outty Max
So there's a few inches of snow on the ground and I have some time to spare. I asked my son if he wanted me to drop the plow and go ditch banging on the Outty. His eyes lit up and he was for it. So we were riding around in fields and through woods when we come up to 3 people on 3 separate snowmobiles ( looked like a dad and 2 sons). My son asked to follow them around. The sleds looked at us like we were a little crazy. We followed them for a few miles when we got into a cleared field they opened them up. Well, what do you do....you open it up too
We ended up passing these guys on their turf (I mean snow) going well over 90MPH. I about dropped a load. I thought it was really funny. Never expected anything like that. Granted there was only about 4" of snow left but these were newer Yamaha sleds. Not sure what size they were but I know the one the Dad was running was bigger than the other 2 sleds.

Don't want to burst your bubble, but there are very few sleds these days that don't break 100 mph without breaking a sweat.Maybe he was keeping the speed down to protect his kids.Things go bad fast at that speed.

The father on the sleds most likely was thinking of his kids.
What was the father of the kid on the bike thinking of.
Things and go wrong on an ATV faster and worst than on a sled.
And parents wander why the courts take the children away from them.

Glad to here you didn't have any issues and I'm sure your son enjoyed the ride to the point where he probably will never forget it! I don't judge esspecially on what and how peeps do with raising their kids. If you go by todays society then everyones parents who's kids are now in their 40's and up,should be locked up for driving around with no car seats, seat belts, bicycle helmets,etc......society needs to stay out of peeps life once in awhile and let them live their way!!! just sayin.
