Radiator - Can swell/expand reducing airflow, check horizontal lines between cooling fins, if puffed up, then swollen. There is a kit to fix this from CAN-am, before it swells
Shocks, if the top loops of the springs are touching, replace springs and shocks
Stator, if running consistently hot and getting battery low the stator has been known to go

My father, and several members of our local club have had all the issues above, and had most fixed under warranty, even after warranty expiration.

Rad Cap (look to see if rad is swollen aswell)
Overflow Cap
Weep Hole

Just 3 things to look for.. There are service bulletins out for them, they are all easy fixes.

Search your model for more details and other issues people have found.

Enjoy!

Check the timing chain & guides right away ...pop the valve covers off and see how far the chain tensioners are extended....more then 3/4" , time to replace with "M" stamped chain and new style guides.

I think that will tell a lot about how well the bike has been treated and taken care of. Anybody can wash it up and make it look pretty, but how well they treated it when they rode it says a lot, to me anyway.

Check the frame underneath for straightness. Also, look for kinks right behind the lower a-arm mounts on the main frame.

The guy says the front axle was replaced. There's a new fuel pump in it also. Not sure what to do yet haha.

If you get the serial number, you can have a dealer check to see if anything was done to it from any BRP dealer or if there was ever any warranty repairs done on it.
