Parking Brake not holding
Hey guys how long will your parking brake hold your bike? Mine bleeds down fast,if I set my brake and not put it in park then it will roll in just a few min..
I can hold my hand brake down and can feel the preasure bleeding off.

Mine holds infinitely.
Mine actually works so good that I had to file the notch bigger because stock it wouldn't even latch.
Are your pads worn?

I really only ever use mine when I transport the bike but it has never bled down.

No the pads arent hardly worn at all hardly as I only have just a hair over 100 miles on it... I think I may have a weak master cylinder. Not sure if its enough to deal with the dealer or not though...

Have read about a couple of members having small issues but don't remember where they posted what happened for the fix. Could be a bad seal in the MC? I think BigO had the issue.

If its that bad get the warranty to fix it, it should not bleed off with your hand applying the brake. My 07/500 bleeds down over nite but I can park it on an incline for a couple of hours and have no worries that it might roll away. If I am going to leave the quad for more than a couple of minutes I put it into Park, just a good habit.

Yeah I would definitely try to get the warranty to cover it. I hate it when you have probs on a newer bike. It really pisses a man off.

I would say you may not be safe with it as you explained, not a function that you want to find fails when you need it most so get it fixed and get out riding
