I believe the article specificly says there were 8 changes to the Outlander, not Renegade. When I bought mine the dealer mentioned a few changes to me that had been made from the 06's. The 07's have a new voltage regulator design to help keep mud and water from getting in (it might be the rear fuses but I think it is the VR). They have new bushings on the rear TTI bars because the 06's had a problem there. Brighter headlights is another one. The XT's have the remote for the winch now. New rims on the XT's would be another change but I don't know if that is one of th 8.

There is probably 4 more changes done to thee 07 outlanders.

i've been thinking about it a bit. The pos. battery cable goes to a connection just to the right of the battery(the one closest to the tire, which i use for boosting).Maybe take the cable off there and put it to one of them (isolater?) switches, along with the pos. cable from your second battery.I've never used one of these switches, but i think they must allow two cables to come into it ,then an output cable which could go back to the connection by the tire. Then you could switch from one battery to another.Good daytime running you could charge them up good one at a time, when the cold, poweraccessory consuming, many beveragestopping w/lights on,night comes --you'd have a fully charged back-up at the flick of a switch. Still in the theory stage. If you get-er done let us know

oops,i thought i was in the spare battery thread too...switchable ?
