800 Max Loss of Power issues

I noticed a loss of power at the top end. I installed a new belt 100 miles ago. Confirmed the air filter was clean, even ran it without out on one run. I installed a tee with a plug to test fuel press. I jacked up the rear and throttled all the way up, seemed to hit the rev limit @ 78 mph. The fuel press went to 51 then 41 then to 51. Looked in the fuel tank, somewhat clean. I tested on the jack with low fuel. I filled and ran it with a full tank on the trails. I hit 48 mph and the tach was 5500. i could barely hit 55mph I am pretty sure its fuel loss but not totally sure I'm afraid to take it in to the dealer having a snorkel installed, cause Outanders suck in water stock.

As far as water I took my belt case off and cleaned the face and gasket real good then greased the gasket upon reinstallation haven't had a prob since. As far as the snorkel your changing the amt of air the engine pulls in which I would suggest a programmer for fuel. The top end should be significantly higher. Chk and see if mud has accumulated on the primary clutch

That answer had nothing to do with my question...loss of power. not leaks for water.

I'm thinking fuel pump if pressure is dropping to 41.

it most certainly did. If the clutch is caked with mud it won't close very far decreasing your top end and loss of POWER! As for the programmer comment u said u were afraid to take it to a dealer cause it was snorkeld, I suggested adding a programmer cause once again u r changing the air flow through the engine and adding more air to fuel changes everything so that was friendly beneficial knowledge! As for the belt case comment it seemed u like to ride in mud and water sooooo if the clutch was full of mud that was another tech tip I learned.

It was the fuel pump. Found after trial and error. Used a fuel pump from Autozone like someone had mentioned on a sticky. Thank you! Running like a dream now.

Fuel pressure drops below 50, it's fuel pump.
