Installed low and high beam led bulbs to my - 16 Outlander 570 Pro. Got them from Ebay for 25$ a pair. Low H11 and Hi 9005. These are with cooling fins and we'll see how they hold up when they get dirt and mud. Front tires throw all the mud straight to headlight covers.
Lights are bright but haven't tested them in the dark yet. Brighter than stock bulbs. Looks cool anyways Still waiting for LED's for my park light.
I'll add better pictures later when I get to test them in dark.
Here's pics. Low beam, hi beam and hi + led spots. I'd say I'm very happy with the result. Pics don't do justice, they are really bright and light quite a distance.
I've held out on the LED's waiting for more reports. I don't see them lasting in the dirt and mud. Mud builds up on the cooling fins and fans and the led's and mounts may overheat is my guess. Concerned about damage to the housing if this were to occur. Updates would be great!
I have done same mod to my 17 Outlander 1000XTP. They work awesome way brighter than stock. But make when your cleaning machine off you clean out the cooling fins / heat sinks on back of bulbs. If they over heat they will melt your headlight lens.
I have been wanting to switch to LED headlight bulbs on my '09 but I don't see how they would work with that cap that you have to unscrew to get the bulb out. What is your opinion on it? All the LED's I see have a wire and a box hooked to the bulb.
