Those look great. I do not have that skill set so I purchased and installed these as an alternative.
My last ATV had all kinds of broken plastic from saplings and trees from riding in the woods. They connect to the corners with bolts.

Very nice, and always much better when you can make them yourself.

hey guys sorry been crazy busy ,
I build fences and fabricate for a living in bc so I try to make everything I can.
I used 1 3/8 commercial grade pipe galvanized fence material you can get it from home depot and other places like that. the stuff I have at work has a swedge on one end it fits perfect in the top bar and the 1 3/8 fits perfect into the bottom bar (like a glove) mitered the corners and fit on machine slides right in , I made it so its just inside the plastics so no more catching on the trees and such

I wondered about those plastic "corner covers" on the stock Can Am bumpers. That is a vulnerable area when trail riding. I like the idea of the side body protectors like thePCsurgeon has on his. This piece may also protect the vulnerable plastic footwells. Should Can Am Outlanders come standard with this piece?

Can Am should strive to be a premier ATV with premier design features that are proven reliable in the field. Their ATVs ought to be designed tough as nails, military grade so to speak.

Monsterd: You get today's award for improving the bumper design.

David
