Axle failed on 2012 renegade 1000
Out riding today and going through a deep mud hole and heard a big clunk and next thing I knew my front left tire stopped spinning, got towed out of the mud hole and axle broke in the outter CV joint, quad has 400km on it. It is covered under warranty so no biggie and was able to ride out

Well, you aren't gonna hear good news on a forum. This is where people come to vent! You don't hear of all the mud holes that people successfully went WOT through.

Power wise stock 67rwhp, STI HD rims with 26" interco vampire tires so not overly heavy masses on the axles, I'm honestly not disappointed since I was able to ride back to my truck(5km back) didn't rip the boot and it has a 2 year warranty, I was in 4low and not being gentle to my quad

I appreciate the honesty! It makes me feel less nervous about mine. We all beat our stuff at times, but when stuff breaks it always gets made out to be the quads fault and not the operator hammering down on it! Not saying it was your fault, but at least you admit to hammering on it when it broke!
Thanks for the honest comments!
