How much does it weigh and is it an open channel in the back of the bumper? Been thinking about one but don't want a mud or snow holder.

Yeah I really like them but don't want another 40 lbs of mud (or frozen snow up here) weighing the front down. Nice looking though.

Here is the back side, it is contoured at the bottom, so the mud / snow should slide off some!

So this thing is in addition to the existing front stock bumper? Don't have to remove anything, just install this?

It all just bolts on, all the holes are there...
the Plastic skid plate needed a hole punched out, but the frame behind it had the hold in the right place...

I might have to see if they ship to Australia that bumper will help when those pesky kangaroos jump in front of you on the trails.

Looks good was also thinking of getting one for mine, but hows the tire clearance when you turn the wheels on air ride level 1?

The bumper does not even come close to the tires, and we are thinking about putting 32 sb's on it...

Hey does anything have to be modified to fit the bumper? Does the winch have to be moved? How long did it take you to install?
Thanks

If you have ricochet skids you have to cut the two spacers off the bumper frame. If you have no skids, or factory BRP skids, all you have to do is drill out the two factory located holes in the front plastic and bolt it on. The winch doesnt get moved, the fairlead does though, it gets relocated onto the new bumper.

is the extreme bumper needed with the ricochet skids? The reason I ask is bc the skids look like they come up to cover both sides of the black plastics on each side of the winch...Or does the extreme bumper protect better?

The extreme front bumper is great if your running over saplings or short underbrush, it forces everything down so you can run over it with your tires instead of it getting all tangled up in your axles first.

For some reason I cannot see the pictures of the bumper.
