Need some help

I have a 15 outlander 800xmr and it's time for a rebuild. I was wondering is it possible to make it to a 1000?

If by a rebuild you mean you only require the Pistons/Rings/Cylinders and a re-seal kit then there are plenty of 840/860/940/975 and everything in between kits that will utilize the stock 800 crank and rods and will make more power then the stock 1000. If your looking to start with a 1000 then your best bet is to find a good salvage 1K motor to start with.

Yes by rebuild I mean piston job and everything things else for the cylinders . My bike has been flooded 4 times and this time I couldn't get her back to live lol. The front cylinder has 50 and the rear has almost 125 pounds/psi not sure what it goes by... for got what the gage said. so I'm guessing that's the reason it won't start no more. So now I wanna rebuild the whole things but wasn't sure what big bore to get. I would like it to be almost a 1000cc but idk if it's true about people saying if I do a big bore kit I'm gonna have over heating problems.

Split the case and do the whole job. If it's been flooded 4 times, and it's done that, your crank bearings have a timer running..

So would you know what would I need to make it to a original 1000 if the crank already fits on my model?
