Default Which tuning tools to purchase.

I getting ready to purchase everything so I can tune mine and my buddy's 2011 Outlander X MR. This is what I plan on buying.

1. Power Commander V

2. Autotune AT-100 (for dual cylinder tunes at the same time)

3. Wideband Commander / Wideband Commander 2 / LM2 (to fine tune 100%, idle, and 2% any suggestion which one to get and why.)

I will be helping a few friends with their tunes so I have to learn this if there is anything else I will need please advice all you tuner guys. I am determined to learn how to tune. I have read so many threads it is all starting to make since. I still don't know which one of item 3 to get please advice.

Does the WB2 also do autotune with the PCV and does it have data logging capabilities (like the orginal WB) if I buy the LCD-200. This may be a better choice for myself the only down fall is for the dual cylinder tune I will have to tune each cylinder seperatly. Does that sound correct.

Does the WB work as an autotune also with the PCV?

I had the PCV, WB2 and LCD. They work fine, but you do have to tune the cylinders individually. The WB2 IS an autotune with an extra port and the LCD will record datalogs with an SD card. The WB2 can be used on any bike with the extra wires on it.....whereas the autotune can ONLY be used in conjunction with a power commander.

I havent used the LM2 setup.....but I would think any wideband should work for monitoring A/F and then use the power commander to adjust.

After further reading about the PCV, LCD-200, and the autotune, I am under the impression that the LCD-200 w/SD Card can be used for data logging the AFR. Is this correct.

Well DJ got back with me and the PCV, Autotune AT-300, and LCD-200 w/SD Card will allow you to log data. So I will be able to perform a dual cylinder tune and then go back and fine tune the lower TPs. So that is the setup I have decided to go with can't wait to get started.

I went with the PC5 and LM-2 for the data loggin ability and tuning. I got a great deal on the LM-2, and I figure I can use it on my sleds and pick-up truck too....cause I can't leave things stock...

What do I really need to do after I install a snorkleyouratv kit and a slip on hmf swamp xl pipe? I don't plan on doing any more mods. Atleast none to affect my fuel/air ratio.

How much does PC5 and exhaust system from your dealer? Are you running with the original air filter?
