I have a 1000xt with a swamp xl and a syatv kit. What do I need to insure my bike is running correctly? Want to make sure the A/F is correct or close. Will a PCV do the trick? Do you have to have a dyno with a PCV? Just want to make sure my bike is running correctly or close.

I'd go with the PCV with Auto-Tune. The Auto-Tune will cost as much as a dyno tune but with auto-tune you can tune all day everyday, add a mod... tune it again.. all free after the initial purchase. A dyno is only one time..
Once you get it, just run your bike at each throttle position until the rpm's stop climbing, then stop and go to the next throttle position until the rpms stop climbing, and repeat.

Is the PCV waterproof or can it be waterproofed easily?

Pelican works great, I did notice though that it gets hot inside that little box, but could be where I have it mounted too I suppose.

Well I'm pumped for my dyno tune trip. Got my scorcher tires mounted on stock wheels the pro mod wheels don't clear the brake caliper. Added a little weight to the clutches for the lower elevation, current shiftout is 7,000 rpm's @4,300' so the elevation drop to 1,300' should dial it right in. Will be leaving at 3am Monday morning and arrive around 8 am. Hope its all worth it in the end, it will be a long day with the turn around so I can get back to work Tuesday. Tried to schedule for Saturday but they don't dyno tune on weekends.

All dynos are different, even the same make there are diffences and too many variables unless they are put on the same dyno with the same tires.

Your clutches could use some tuning man..
You have almost 500 rpm of over rev for one thing.
I bet theres some more power in a proper clutch tune

I sent the maps to Adam and he said that 300-400 over rev is all by design as long as it's not hitting the rev limiter that's where the QSC shines and gets the big hole shot. Look where the peak hp comes right after the over rev at 30 mph. You feel it riding too, it's like being slung out of a sling shot those first 30' or so. He said clutch looked real good.

Overrev on bottom end is TOO LITTLE BASE WEIGHT. That's exactly what you have here. this is causing a forward push loss and may feel good, but time it and you'll see it sounds like you are going faster but you aren't.
try adding about 2-3 grams of base weight to the area closest to the pin. big motors like lots of base weight especially of the clutch weight is highly curved (like an EPI kawy weight or polaris weight)
instead of overrevving, you'll get the PUSH forward. and it should also boost power. 840cc can am's with STM clutching I can gain 3-5 rwhp by removing the overrev and having it overrev about 100-200 rpm. power is flat and linear and it takes off like a rocket.
Think of running a spring like a HPD plain in a stock Brute. it feels like it gained 10 rwhp. but it's actually slower than the stock spring
I can't believe they didn't dial in your top end. that's where all the power lies. I'll do 100 runs if that's what it tales messing with -1 to +1 all over the top end.
look at that a/f chart. that's not that great of a tune. if my line isn't ruler straight it isn't tuned.
that a/f varies from 13.2 to 13.7 up and down. and this is at WOT under the load of the roller
that line should be 12.6-12.8 where I find the max power on my dyno.
How about front vs rear cylinder a/f readings. it takes me 3-4 HOURS to fully map out a dual cylinder tune and I know exactly what I'm doing.
sounds to me like he got you on and off the rollers as quiclky as possible and didn't dwelve into the fine tuning aspect of what the dyno is really for.
Sell that autotune, get yourself an LM-2 and datalog everything real world and make your adjustments from there. I dyno first, then I ride and datalog and adjust from there if needed
