cool, I read on the other forum that they didn't let you watch. too bad, that'd be cool. When I was at Get-torqed they had a bike on the dyno, was pretty hard to keep the grin off my face. I was in a hurry or I would have hung around and watched for a bit.
Looks like you're making pretty good power and I like that flat graph, I am installing the same pipes on friday so I'm getting pumped now, hopefully that tune will be available soon.
Maybe I'll be a little closer with those renegades.

Very Cool, it is good to see that they actually do this good of tuning for their "pre-set" maps on their site, very good to know!!!

I haven't used any maps from PowerCommander's site, but I may have to test a couple of them as I notice they are drastically different than the map I'm currently using.

So stock baseline tune is 62hp correct? You got it up to 68hp with the muzzy and pc5. So did you gain 6hp over stock with just the muzzy or the muzzy and pc5 combined?

how you should think of this is the pipe is making all that hp...but the bike has to be tuned to bring out the hp that the pipe can make
the pc5 is a tool to maximize the hp that each part is capable of doing. the pc5, really does'nt make hp, it tunes the motor to make it with whatever mods you have..
but in general, you see only about 2-4 rwhp more once tuned...
another thing you have to look at is every bike is different..same motor..but.. e.g is on the 800's they are seeing totally stock rwhp vary from 46 - 51.. yes that much of a difference.. same dyno.. same dyno tires, everything the same and stock bikes.. just one makes more than the other...
imo you are wasting your time with a generic map.. you mite think its good or ok.. but is it really? for YOUR machine.. that you don't know.. the map works only good for the bike it was written..
Looking at your sheet, your hp starts falling off to soon.. the flat line should continue till shift out.. they never played with your clutching, did they? getting that shift out a touch higher would of probably seen another horse or two.

As for an example...
i just was up at torqed in edmonton a few weeks ago and we installed some new bom cams.... in my dyno chart the bottom run is the base run with the new cams. all other mods stayed the same....
i left last fall with a final rwhp of 65.36, i believe and from just swithing to these cams gave me just under 1/2 hp more...but look at the last line how all over the place it is...
then look after we tuned with my aftermarket ecu... gained close to 4 1/2 rwhp over the base run... and gained over 3 ft lbs of torque after tuning...
look at the green line, how quite smooth it is and even thou you lose hp as you go up in rpm, you want to minimize this as much as you can and try to keep to peak power all the way up in the mph scale.
