Ok so im changing things up a bit with my renegade. I sold my lift, putting a little of that money toward payoff. At the moment the only mods are pcv, snorkles, and cvtech. I bought a Full Muzzy, Tune Monster, 3gx belt (stock one is shot), Highlifter bracket lift, so far. I still have a little money left i can spend on it and im really wanting to get the RWHP numbers up around 65-70. I know i will need a custom tune on the dyno and most likely cams to get there. I also would like to get a STM secondary to help put the power to the wheels. I dont think i will have the money to finish all of that real quick but its going to happen.

I am also powder coating the front bumper, rear grab bar, handlebars, and maybe the brake levers, all chrome. Going to powdercoat the lift componets also. I have a friend that does powdercoating and i already have alot of colors of my own.

Please give me input on what or what not to do. If im missing something or need to do something other than i listed your input will be appreciated!

I am looking for good quality wheel spacers. I just bought a se tfrom Royal Distributing in Ontario and they were BAD. the studs were visibly leaning to one side and I couldn't get them to go on my rims even sitting on the on the floor and lining them up the studs were so off. I returned them bu now I don't know where to buy a good set and what brand I should look for.

Has anyone bought a good set that accepts the rims without a lot of work getting them to go on. If so can you tell me what brand you bought and where you bought them please.

Hi,

within the last days I lost more and more top speed. So I opened the cvt cover and found oil everywhere. After I disassambled the primary and secondary, I saw the issue. The oil seal of the gearbox input shaft was damaged. So I replaced the oil seal and o-ring and cleaned everything with brake cleaner.

But there is still an issue. I think there is still oil in/on belt and slips more than normal. How to clean it? Or is exchange the only way to solve the problem?

Hello everyone, I'm a tree butcher just west of prince george, married with 7&9 year old girls. Been many years since I've had a bomb, not really brand loyal but I always feel like I'm home with bombardier in the garage. Went 11 years without any sleds, found a nice '07 tundra for the kids to learn on, grabbed a 600 ace expedition for myself and the wife, putting around with the kids and running trails is what we do in the winter.

With atv's, we picked up 2-3 years ago some Chinese slave labor pot metal machines for a grand just to see how they like it, my girls loved it :thumbsmilie:

Stepped up a few sp90's for them, great little machines, had an 850xp for myself and a sp500 for the wife, had a chance to upgrade hers to the 1000xt with power steering, so yes my wife has the faster machine lol.

I love riding both, I find the xp is smoother riding, less vibes, better fender coverage, slightly better clearance. The 1000xt, well it's been years since I rode a machine you can steer with just a bit of body motion and throttle, awesome, just awesome. :yahoo:

That and the power steering, if the machine was available without it I would of gone without it since I've never ridden a machine with power steering, but man this is the first time in years I've done a full days ride without my wrecked shoulders feeling the pain for days after.

Over the next few years, the xp will either be replaced or made into strictly a huge mud machine, maybe I'll just keep it for a spare group ride. I see a max xt coming next season maybe, I like the bomb!

Game on!!:thumbsmilie:
