mg:Give me a break they have been doing this inaugural crap for 2 days already, and I don't see allot of input by whities, it seems to be leaning heavy on black input.I'm not being racial at all but this is amazing.

So is he going to represent me at all, I wonder?

Plus the fact they are spending $150 million dollars of our Tax money for the event..

I am not sure what to think but it is historic and I do wish him well. I believe $100 million of the cost is donated. Mostly by banks soI guess we are still paying for it. I certainly hope Obama is given a better chance than Bush had. The press has turned into the Presidents worse enemy.

About bloody time some journalists did their homework! Yes his father was/is Kenyan but no he is not descended from slavery unless his mother is from slave stock, his father certainly isn't!.

His white grandmother raised him, but she raised his white mother too. His mother chose a worthless black father, then when he left, as usual, she then chose a muslim.

If his mother had those values, and they were both raised by the same woman.....hmmm. Plus he has muslim teachings from his stepfather and went to a muslim school for awhile.

I know this much, the truth is not in the guy, plus he takes both sides on any issue, just as he is doing now. Or he takes neither side, and votes 'present' as he did 90% of the time as a senator.

Don't worry, he doesn't have enough guts to be dangerous. Florishing in Chicago politics as he did, the most corrupt in the country, and that's saying a lot, it's no wonder his record in the Senate was the most liberal of all.

He won't be able to just be 'present' now, but he can placate both the Democrats and the Republicans, and will have been an ineffective Mamma's Boy at the end of his two terms.

I hope the pendulum will start swinging back to the right in a decade or two.

I'm hoping.. yes, I said "hope" I hope he doesn't last more than one term cause I don't want to imagine this country after two full terms worth of one of the most liberal pres's ever to step foot in wash. Not to mention all his cronies. I got a feeling it will only take the first two years for folks to realize he's a putz and senate elections coming up in 2010 will swing back toward conservatives... I hope..
