Default MRRPM 1000cc "square" lol!, cams

Here is a picture of my cam blanks being machined. This is just a trial, setting up the machine. These are 1018 cold rolled steel, in production, they will be, as always, SAE 8620. This is just the roughing out stage, the lobes start as a round, then are lopped off with an endmill, then milled in a more round shape, prior to grinding. I'll post more pics, as we get along.

Yes, I'm turning & roughing them here. Final grinding is still done at my cam guys place.

I use Mastercam for machine code, what we can't program at the machine. We have a Faro arm running Dezignworks for reverse engineering, inside of Solidworks.

Cool pics Greg. A little insight to how it's done is pretty sharp.

Im waiting also. Running my gen2s now. Probably wont see much of a difference getting these. I still dont see why the gen 2s wont make power in the 1000. About how much increase are we talking about?
