Default Oregon Dunes affected by 10-C Management Plan

These are the three areas in Oregon that will be affected by the 10-C Travel Management Plan for designating roads for access.

The 15 member committee, comprised of half ORVers and half Birkenstockers will have several more meetings in 2010 to decide on your riding fate.

Granted, total dune lockdown will not happen, but a good portion is at stake for conversion to non-offroading.....unless everyone gets off their butts and attend these slated meetings or gets involved otherwise.

The Forest Circus will make the final decision and guess which side that it smells like is getting favored.....yup, the Birkenstockers side. In our two previous meetings, the dune tours "conveniently" viered from the 10-C concentrated areas (only areas affected) to look at "other sensitive spots" - the tours are set up by, guess who, the Forest Circus. We have less than 50% of these dunes to ride in now.....can you afford to lose upwards of 20% from that?

More info to follow as develops ........LBR

This is the link to follow - the Oct & Nov meeting minutes are viewable so you can catchup on what has transpired so far:
