ECU Reflash info

I'm leaning more and more towards getting my ECU reflashed, I'm also concerned that my 3 year warranty will be void if I do it? Really want my bike to run cooler but I don't want to be paying the bill if something detrimental happens to my engine

No negatives to getting your ECM flashed, only positives. No dealer will be able to tell if your ECM is flashed when its hooked up to Buds, so theres no worries there. With that said i see a lot of other people doing the refreshes now. I would only send mine to someone that knows these machines very well. Steve from monster fuel injection has the most experience with these machines and reflahes IMO and who i would/have sent mine to, i also have a flash from Bom racing but both mine are on G1 machines. With you having a G2, i would stick to Monster.

Don't worry about warranty. Get the reflash and you will be happy and your machine will be more reliable. It will run cooler, not as lean and the power increase is really nice. Wick-It Performance in Louisiana did mine. It's a Monster EFI reflash just don;'t need to send ECU to Canada.

I'm thinking about sending mine off too. What is the turnaround time on something like this?

On 'Monsters' site I don't see anything for a 1000 ATV. Anyone had a 1000 reflashed?
