Asseccory fuse 20 amp blown when I start handwarmer

I installed original thumb and handwarmer two month ago, no problem to install and has worked perfect

But today I blown the 20 amp accessory fuse when I started the handwarmer. I checked the cables going from the switch on the handle bar and the look brand new (the are brand new), I have changed fuse, and fuse blow for both handwarmer and thumb warmer.

Anybody who has any ideas? I did not buy the hand/thumb warmer from my local retail and also installed my self, so I gues the will say that the warrenty not cover this

Any ideas? Is it so easy that the fault is within the hand/thumb warmer or could it be any other problem? Everything else is working 100% on the machine

Try disconnecting the thumb and one hand warmer to see if there is a short in one of them. Check each one, one at a time. You can also use an Ohm meter to check continuity of each warmer. Check continuity of your ground also.

Spara parts?

Can you buy spare parts for these, such as left handles or the control panel itself. Or you need to buy a complete hand and thumb warmer kitt?

Because I am an idiot I had pulled the clamp for the right-hand rear-view mirror around the cable to the right hand warmer, so it was short-circuited as the clamped damaged the cable
