I'll buy a Can-Am box when they are durable and truly waterproof. If I can buy a 40$ box from Home Depot that's waterproof, and keep it waterproof after drilling holes in it and mounting it, Can-Am can build one for 300$. It actually doesn't look all that bad either, and stack-able if I need more space.

While your box is a great idea I don't think its big enough to hold my rain gear let alone the few tools I carry or a jacket once it get warm.
They make bigger ones. They also stack and lock to each-other, very sturdy. I've went on several rides with both attached without issue. I went with the 2 smaller ones, since I don't always need the second box. The lid of the smaller ones have a removable piece of plastic to get a bit more space out of it. Links below. If there are bigger waterproof ones you know of, do share! I'd love to get more storage without riding with the empire state building on my rear rack :clapsmilie: I do wish they were about 8 inches wider.

      Bigger.
      One I use.

Officially have power in my rear box! Water-tight, charge anything USB.
Currently just hooked right to the battery, but plan on adding a relay for key-on triggered power at some point this year.

Now I can record video non-stop :yahoo: (or until I run out of SD card space...)

USB cable came with an in-line fuse and ring connectors on it already. Had to cut them off to feed the cable through the not-quite-big-enough hole I drilled (that was on purpose to help seal it up). Ran cable through the rack under the plastics into the battery compartment and re-attached the connectors and in-line fuse. No modifications were made to the quad itself.

My phones charge rate app registers between 550mah and 1100 depending on RPM.
